CON - The town's olden boy, the star quarterback. Everybody loves him, and he seems perfect...any mother's wish for their daughters. IF THEY ONLY KNEW THE TRUTH, they'd run away screaming.
You see, Constantine Masters is one half of the BAD ONES. One half of a soul so dark, but so pure...of their love for each other. Con has waited for Dulcie, to grow, and wake up from her slumber...coz you see,
DULCIE has been a BAD ONE all along, she just hasn't realized it.
TOGETHER, they painted the town RED, with their victim's blood.
The BAD ONES has thrown me for a loop. I've always loved Stylo for her ability to shock me, and test my limits as a reader, when I first stumbled over her KANE Series. And then I met the MERCERNARIES Lily, Marc and Law, both men equaly rough in their own way, and Lily giving all she's got.
Then came Con and Dulcie, who if I'm honest, scared me a bit. It was like I was watching an episode of Criminal Minds, but a love story. Not a tragic one, because well they did have a happy ending. But mind you, I was batting for them and cringing at them, because they really are crazy scary.
Not for the faint hearted, but this book, like all of Stylo Fantome's (I've read them all) will not disappoint because it will give you something to think about, and maybe make you look over your shoulder for a few days.
