The story is about Zach - a boy who ended up growing up in the amazon because his missionary parents died while they were on a mission. After eighteen years, finally his surrogate uncle - his father's best friend, found him and wanted him to go back to America. His uncle has hired Moira, an anthropologist, to help him adjust to the modern world. The story is really simple. You think the story is simple right? Yes, it is. If you are looking for a mind boggling twist, then you'd be disappointed. Because there are none. This book is not about major twist and turns. It is about how a cave of a man adjusted into the modern civilization, (how he learned about the internet is so fucking entertaining!)and how he fell in love for the very first time to the woman who assisted him in his transition - and how torn he was in his choices of returning to his adopted land or staying with the one he loved..
