Cover Reveal: Revived by Samantha Towle

India Harris didn’t have the best start in life. Abandoned as a baby, she and her twin brother, Kit, spent their lives in foster care, only having each other to rely on. Then, at a young age, a relationship with the wrong man left India pregnant. Wanting to give her son the life she never had, she put herself through school and graduated with honors.

Now, at the age of thirty, she’s a highly respected therapist.

At the top of his game as a Formula One driver, Leandro Silva had everything—until an accident on the track left him staring death in the face. After enduring twelve months of physical therapy, Leandro is now physically able to race, but his mind is keeping him from the track. Frustrated and angry, Leandro’s days and nights are filled with limitless alcohol and faceless women.

Entering the last year of his contract, he knows he has to race again, or he’ll lose everything he spent his life working for. Forced into therapy to get his life back, Leandro finds himself in the office of Dr. India Harris.

Falling for his uptight therapist is not part of Leandro’s plan.

Having unethical feelings for her patient, the angry Brazilian race car driver, is not part of India’s plan.

But what if the wrong person is the only person who is right?

Excerpt

Leandro
My eyes move to the magazines on the table. There’s a sports mag peeking out from under the fashion mags.
Leaning forward, I pull it out, instantly wishing I hadn’t.
Top of the magazine is a picture of me, with the caption ‘What the bad side of Formula 1 looks like’.
Nice.
So, now I’m the bad side of F1. Good to know.
I already know what the media say about me. How I’ve turned from a great racer into a drunk, and a whore.
They’re not wrong on the whore part – well, whore is a bit harsh, I don’t charge for my services. And I wouldn’t say I’m a drunk. I just like to drink, a lot.
I shouldn’t read the article, I know this, but the sadistic part of me has me turning those pages.
Finding the article, eyes scanning the text, I pick out the usual shit.
Why is Silva no longer racing? Physically he’s healthy. Is it mental problems? Fear over racing because of his accident. Is that why he drinks – drowning his misery in alcohol? Such a shame to see, a once great driver, fall from grace so dramatically.
Frustration and rage grip my chest like a vice.
Fuck this. I don’t need this shit.
Even though I can’t race, it’s not like I actually need to.
I don’t need to race. I just need to drink and fuck. That’s all I need now. All I’ll ever need.
Liar.
I am a liar, and a chicken shit. And that’s why I’m sitting in the waiting room of a therapist.
Maybe I’m beyond help.
Tossing the magazine back on the table, I get to my feet ready to leave this place, just as the door opens, revealing the epitome of what I could really do with screwing right now.
My eyes trail up the toned, tanned legs, to the fitted pencil skirt that I would happily hitch up to see the magnificent pussy that I bet lies beneath. A pale pink blouse is tucked into that skirt, covering what look like a fantastically sized pair of tits. Silky blonde hair sits on her shoulders. Hair that I would enjoy getting my hands all tangled in, while I fuck those bright red lips of hers, enjoying seeing that lipstick smeared all over my cock.
My dick pulses in my jeans, more than ready to proposition her with the offer.
“Mr. Silva.” She steps forward. “I’m Dr. Harris. But please call me India.”
She’s Dr. Harris?
This, hitch-your-skirt-up-and-let-me-fuck-you-right-now, woman is my new therapist.
Well that’s just fucking great. It’s not like I can bang my therapist.
I put my cock on hold, and giving her my best smile, the one that always has panties dropping to the floor, I say, “And you can call me Leandro.”

In celebration of Book Lovers' Nook's 4th Anniversary, here's a glimpse of the admins, contributors & moderators:

For you what constitute a great Book cover?
I'm a very visual person, so a striking book cover plays a tremendous part in my reading the book. The essence of the story should be present. Less is more. If it's an image of a neck with a beautiful necklace, or a hand with an engagement ring. I'm set. It gives me an impression of a happy ending.

Give one hot Book Boyfriend that comes to mind?
At the moment it's Martin Sandeke. He is one hot son of a b.. billionaire. I like that he can whisk you away to a place that makes you forget the harsh realities trappings of life. His sport makes you imagine all the dirty things he can do to you with his arms.
I also like this forceful, brute, domineering, aggressive, seductive heck of a specimen that is Clayton Westmoreland. At the same time, his compassion, generosity and love for his woman really touched me to the core.

Give one Favorite heroine of all time?

Whitney Stone

Fave writers/authors at the moment?

Penny Reid. I read all her books in 4 days. Even though I wasn't so enthused with the cover of Hooker and the Hermit, I read it. Just because her name was there. Lynne Graham. I always go back to her or Mills and Boon whenever I couldn't find a seemingly good book.

Fave Genre at the moment?

Smart Romance. I can't stand paranormal, except if it's from Sherilyn Kenyon

For you what constitute a great Book cover?:
I don't judge a book by it's cover. Most of the time. But we can't deny the fact that the books with the catchy and attractive cover gets our eyes first, not necessarily colorful or with a naked man with a hot bod on it. For me, it varies in color and the design. And when the image on the cover complements the title or it just tells something about what's inside.

Give one hot Book Boyfriend that comes to mind?
Just one? Darn! This is the hardest question. Ever. The Book Boyfriend(s) that came to my mind will be a mile long list. But the first one that entered my mind was Mitch Lawson from Kristen Ashley's Dream Man Series Law Man.

Give one Favorite heroine of all time.

Hermione Granger from J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter Series. She’s smart, brave, loyal, caring, and an all around world class, bad ass role model for girls.

Review: Elements Of Chemistry by Penny Reid

4 atomic bomb stars!!!
Serial novels no longer appeal to me like they used to. I'm more of a standalone reader. I like fast reads. I hate waiting for the next book to come only to realize that the next book is as cliffy as the first because fvck it! The author decided to end the story in book 3.
confused_rev emoticon
But oh the buts. This book made it easy for me to embrace the 3-part story. After reading the entire 3 books I was vouching for a part 4. Teehee.
What's not to like? Everything feels oh-so-good. Every chemical in my body reacts to this book.
I have so much adoration with Penny Reid. I love her brain I wanna marry it! Lol.
What I love most in this book is the character of the heroine. She's a breath of fresh air. No petty drama. She always say what she feels. She portrays what a woman should be. Thank you, Penny Reid, for creating her! I love Kaitlyn Parker!!!
And of course Sandeke. Gag! I wanna crawl inside the book and do him! confused_rev emoticon
If you want a smart read I highly recommend this book.

Elements Of Chemistry By Penny Reid

What the hiccup??!! My friends insisted I read it right away, I didn't realize it's not a stand alone. So I also had to endure the Bunsen burner in my pants for anxiously waiting for them to get together. This Penny is one smart cookie, thank goodness kindle has a built in dictionary. I had to effing look for the word "vociferous".

I tell you reading a trilogy is a pain in my gluteus Maximus.. But Elements of Chemistry made it tolerable. For a moment just like in the book or with a special person it became my safe place. It's nice to have someone like that in your life. A friend who would be willing to embrace you for what you are and would call you on your bad behavior. I admire Kaitlyn's disposition in life, she was able to walk away from the love of her life because she needed to do what's right. -JB

Finally going to bed at 2:30 am, thanks Penny for keeping me up all night! Thank you book buddies for forcing me to read it. Hehe. I'm hard to persuade, but you know,, I love books with the same intensity as the heat of magma.. Ow Penny! What the hiccup??!!!

Parts 1-3: Elements of Chemistry
This book has been split into 3 novels.
Part 1: ATTRACTION * Part 2: HEAT * Part 3: CAPTURE

PART 1: ATTRACTION
One week.
Private beach.
Invisible girl.
Jerk-faced bully.
What’s the worst that could happen?
Kaitlyn Parker has no problem being the invisible girl, which is why she finds herself hiding in various cabinets and closets all over her college campus. Despite her best efforts, she can’t escape the notice of Martin Sandeke—bad boy, jerkface bully, and the universe’s hottest, wealthiest, and most unobtainable bachelor—who also happens to be Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner.
Kaitlyn might be the only girl who isn’t interested in exploiting his stunning rower’s build, chiseled features, and family's billionaire fortune. Kaitlyn wants Martin for his brain, specifically to tabulate findings of trace elements in surface water.
When Kaitlyn saves Martin from a nefarious plot, Martin uses the opportunity to push Kaitlyn out of her comfort zone: spring break, one week, house parties, bathing suits, and suntan lotion. Can she overcome her aversion to being noticed? Will he be able grow beyond his self-centered nature? Or, despite their obvious chemistry, will Martin be the one to drive Kaitlyn into the science cabinet of obscurity for good?

About BURYING WATER:

The top-selling, beloved indie author of Ten Tiny Breaths returns with a new romance about a young woman who loses her memory—and the man who knows that the only way to protect her is to stay away.

Left for dead in the fields of rural Oregon, a young woman defies all odds and survives—but she awakens with no idea who she is, or what happened to her.
